Born in Bronx, New York, Rita moved to Florida during high school, where she continued her education. She was married and relocated to Virginia Beach, VA, where she embarked on a career in the mortgage industry, initially helping customer through first-time homebuyers’ seminars. Rita is the proud parent of three wonderful adult children, though she experienced the profound loss of a son to cancer at age 18.
In 2014, Rita moved back to Miami, where she worked as a Personal Banker before being promoted to branch management in 2015. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, she is a seasoned Branch Manager, specialized in Risk Management, Customer Service, Bank Operations, Credit Products, including Home Loan Mortgages, and Recruiting.
Beyond her professional life, Rita is a certified life coach with a holistic approach to personal development. She has been actively involved in the community, contributing to organizations like the American Cancer Society, United Way teaching financial literacy to young students, and Habitat for Humanity.
She has also served as a Boy Scout Cubmaster, Boys’ basketball coach, Fundraising Chairman, and supported Heroes Hangout, demonstrating a commitment to giving back and making a positive impact on those around her.
